MARKET FRESH: For an authentic slice of London life an intimate, private walking tour of London’s Saturday morning markets is a must.
On tour you will visit three markets that connect you, the visitor, to the energy and character of London’s unique energy.
You will start your morning in Brixton Market, South London; a cacophony of sights, smells, music and stalls which has changed little over the years.
Much of Brixton's unique character comes from the local community: a mesh of multi-ethnic Londoners and young hip professionals eager to connect with the neighbourhood’s creative and cool edge.
From here you will head to Borough Market: one of Europe’s finest food markets – an eye-opening destination for foodies and the inquisitive alike. Here, you will meet meet farmers and food producers from across the UK and beyond, taste tantalizing samples and soak up the relaxed, charming atmosphere.
The tour closes at Camden Passage - one of London’s best kept secrets. Showcasing a mix of established and new vintage (clothes, homewares and furniture) and antique dealers.
Situated just north of central London the area is a haven for style-conscious, melding character and charm with over 50 antique and vintage stalls and shops.
Set against a backdrop of cobbled streets and magnificent examples of Victorian and Georgian period architecture Camden Passage has charm and atmosphere that is uniquely London!
You will move between each stop via London’s underground train system for which guests will need to buy a one day travel card (approximately GBP5.00).
Market Fresh is a great way to be part of London's kaleidoscope of people and locations as the locals ease into their weekend.
